Obituary for Delores Wylene Edens Shuck

Delores Wylene Edens Shuck, 80, of Pendleton, KY passed away peacefully with her beloved family by her side at her Trimble County residence on April 22, 2020. She was born on February 14, 1940, to the late Loren Herbert and Hazel Faye Welch Edens in Jonesville, VA.
Delores was a founding member of Bedford Springs Church in Bedford, KY where she served her Lord faithfully. She spent her life lovingly caring for numerous families and children as a Nanny. Delores was given a wonderful gift of interior and floral design, making beautiful arrangements for her beautiful home, church, and family. She loved to travel, making several trips to the Great Smokie Mountains. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing, shopping, especially to Wal-Mart, Dancing, and most of all spending time with her family.
She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband Wilbur Arington of Pendleton, KY; her children Joe Shuck and his companion Jill Handlon of Bedford, KY, Greg Shuck and his wife Glinda of Gallatin, TN, Eric Shuck and his wife Vickie of Bedford, KY, and Amanda Durand and her wife Jeanie Walker also of Bedford, KY; two brothers Don Edens, Bill Edens and his wife Cathy all of Louisville, KY; two sisters Judy Head, Fran Curtis and her husband Jimmy all of LaGrange, KY; fifteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren, and a host of family and friends all of whom will miss her dearly.
Delores is preceded in death by her parents, the father of her children and husband of forty-seven years until his passing on December 14, 2006, Joseph Shuck; brother-in-law buddy Head.

Event Information

We will not offer full public visitation, funerals, or burials until the state allows for such gatherings. Private visitation, funerals, burials, and cremations will still be available under the guidelines of the state. In these difficult times, we must all do our part to be responsible to our community.
